Field Head Farm is a family run dairy farm, located within the sprawling green Staffordshire countryside near to the market town of Uttoxeter. Situated on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Derbyshire Peak District. Field Head Farm offers the choice of 2 Exclusive Use Staycation Glamping Sites – Woodland Camp & Barnside Camp, less than 20 minutes from Alton Towers and conveniently positioned 30 minutes from both the M1 & M6.
Close to a variety of popular attractions as well as beautiful scenic walkways and cycle trails. Nearby you’ll find the family friendly Denstone Hall Farm Shop & Cafe selling fabulous local produce and serving great online food as well as all your essential ‘Take Outs’. There’s also a breadth of local pubs, restaurants, many providing ‘takeaway’ and even delivery options. Within the surrounding area you’ll also find traditional conveniences/amenities within a short drive.
This conveniently central location, in the heart of the countryside has 4 x permanent glamping Bell Tents on decking, each lovingly furnished with 4 single Z beds with the option to switch 2 singles to a double bed if required. The site also benefits from a fabulous kitchen cabin, with a covered veranda and outdoor seating area to relax and look out over your bell tents as the sun goes down. Perfect for your Staycation.
Positioned to the rear of the Bell Tent area is the Kitchen Cabin which includes all general cooking amenities, including an oven if you’d like to bring your baking kit! The cabin also has a large covered veranda, with tables and seating to enjoy the views whilst eating outdoors, or to do some crafting! To the side of the veranda is also the fire pit area with log seating, a great space to toast marshmallows and savour the beautiful view as the evening sun goes down.
Powder Room ! Home to 3 giant power shower/wet rooms, and a large mirrored space with seating to pamper and relax! The Toilet Cabin has 4 flushing toilets along with sinks and the ‘Honesty Shop’ has a selection of personal essentials should you forget anything….spare tooth brush anyone?
Lastly, there is The Hideaway – the stylishly dressed large communal tent is discretely positioned in The Dell Area and atmospherically lit up by festoon lighting. Inside you’ll find ample comfy sofas to relax on as well as your own rustic BAR with stools, glasses and fridge! A great space for families to all relax and enjoy time together – no matter what the weather brings!
