Field Head Farm is a family run dairy farm, located within the sprawling green fields of the Staffordshire countryside. Situated a short drive from Alton Towers and the fantastic Peak District, this beautiful part of the country is only 30 minutes from both the M1 & M6. With a breadth of local pubs, restaurants, and general amenities in and around the farm and nearby small towns Uttoxeter & Ashbourne this small group glamping site/venue is the perfect place for friends, family, adventure seekers or even business groups to relax.

Barnside Glamping – Opening April 2021

Barnside is a fabulous new Exclusive Use Glamping area situated a stones throw from the fishing lake at Field Head Farm. Whether your searching for a Staycation site or a small venue with accommodation option, Field Head Farm not only INCLUDES the full use of the lovingly converted Barn which has ample space for your convenience with glamping accommodation. But also has access to an indoor to facilities including kitchen with all the necessary cooking amenities, including cooker, microwave and dishwasher as well as toilet and shower cabins for you to use. The rustic Barn is a perfect indoor space for activities and small gatherings, and at one end of barn is its feature open fire place surrounded by comfy sofas. A cosy space for group members, family and friends to all gather whatever the season and at any time of the day or evening. The other half of this beautiful old building not only includes tables and chairs which can be moved to one side if necessary for activities, but also has a fantastic wooden bar for guests to use.

The outside glamping area has 4 permanently pitched Bell Tents, each facing towards the tree shaded grass area that is also home to the communal fire pit and bbq area. This area is positioned close to your bell tents and beautifully lit by festoon lights connected between the trees. Onsite facilities include the separate Toilet and Shower Cabins.

A short hop, skip and a jump away from your Bell Tent accommodation is the Barn, a real Wow Factor for any visiting group!

Inside, the barn includes the Kitchen area in the Old Dairy as well as a separate toilet. The main barn space with it’s warm inviting rustic features includes a charming fire place area with comfy leather sofas at one end, and ample table & chairs down the centre which can be moved to leave a perfect open space for your Yoga session Sunday morning maybe?

If that’s not enough… as you step into the main barn space you also have your own wooden bar waiting for you to stock up if you wish?

Facing West towards the fishing lake, the glamping area has 4 x permanent Bell Tents each facing into the generously tree covered grass space and beyond over the Field Head Farms fishing lake. Each bell tent is stylishly furnished with 4 single Z beds with bedding as well as an electric point and lighting.

The Old Dairy is home to the Kitchen area. Fully stocked with all your home comforts/appliances including a dishwasher and of course the Hot Water Bottle Wall for those chilly nights under canvas.

The separate Hot Shower & Toilet Cabins are located close to your bell tents and include all the essentials required for ladies (and gents!) that Glamp!

The Barnside Glamping Area is exclusive for you and your group with parking a short stroll from your tents for convenience as well as a generous outside communal area with a fire pit, seating, fabulous festoon lighting strung between the trees and a BBQ space. All opposite your bell tent accommodation and separate from the main farm building.

– Exclusive Use Hire of the whole site – Up to 16 Glamping Guests in 4 tents:

** Bell Tents can be added to take occupancy to a maximum of 36 people.

– Guests above 16 are charged at £116 per person.

MID-WEEK STAYS

Mon 3pm to Thurs 10am

*Price: £1450

*Max occupancy is 16 for mid-week bookings.

**4 Bell Tents provided as standard – however a 5th can be added to suit ‘sleeping arrangements’ for an extra £150.
